It will not be shared with any other entity nor used to attempt to sell you unrelated items. If you don't want the infrequent notification of fixes or upgrades, just let us know.
Your e-mail address is used to send you the registration information for the software you purchased, or to send you passwords and related information for online services. This helps keep costs low by avoiding postage, and speeds our response to you. It will also be used to notify you if there is any question or problem, such as an incorrectly typed credit card number (very common).
Your street address is required by our credit card payment processing service. It may be used as a backup notification method if you make a mistake typing your e-mail address (or depending or the product and current policy, your order may be cancelled if your e-mail address is incorrect). If you order an item on CD or diskette, it is used for shipping.
Information about what file you downloaded may be recorded locally on your computer and used to provide an order page specifically for that product and a customized experience of our web site. If information about the web page that referred you to the product is available and is recorded, it will not contain any information connected to you.
